Constructed in 1960, McMahon Stadium continues to serve as a vital sports arena for Calgarians. McMahon is the home of the Calgary Stampeders Football Club and is a very prominent landmark in Calgary.
The scope of work, completed in 100 days, included the clubhouse area, concession areas and main concourse development. The original seating capacity of the facility was 22,000 with a current capacity of nearly 36,000. McMahon has been host to several world class events, most notably the 1988 Winter Olympic Games Opening and Closing Ceremonies.
