The Taylor Family Digital Library (TFDL) is one of the most visionary concepts in the world. The TFDL is an energetic and welcoming facility that allows the public to access all types of library material for use in business, education and non-profit applications.
The 265,000 ft2 TFDL was constructed to replace the existing MacKimmie Library complex as the main library hub on campus. The facility includes library stacks, individual work areas, meeting space, multi-purpose areas, and an art gallery and optional event space. In addition to the Taylor Family Digital Library, CANA also constructed the High Density Library and completed the Taylor Family Quadrangle landscape re-development of the central campus grounds.
CANA worked through the very detailed scheduling and budgeting needs of this project in order to keep the library operating at the peak times of the University year.
